Player Evaluation Process

1. Player evaluations at any age group must not take place prior to the Select Coach being determined and communicated
2. Player evaluations should be as follows:

- Continuous coach evaluations throughout the season

- Club Academy or other Club Programs

- Player evaluation camps – during the season or at the end of season

and communicated until after the season is completed (post year-end Jamboree). For U13 to U18, the Select coaches must ensure to consider the timing of the HPL and Metro team selection timelines.  As a result, the  U13 – U18 will likely be later than the Select teams at U12 and under. 

1. It is up to the coach to organize player evaluation camps.  For U10 development (if applicable) and U11 – U13 our tecchnical directorwill assist with evaluations, but will not be responsible for scheduling them. For U14- U18 the technical director will not be involved.  The coach is present at the evaluations, but the evaluations must be completed by unbiased evaluators – it is strongly suggestedthat there be 3 or more unbiased evaluators
2. Evaluators can be from our club or from the Ladner Boys Soccer Club.  All efforts must be made to ensure that the evaluators do not have bias in the process
3. For U10 (Development league team if applicable), U11 and U12 evaluations can occur earlier, but the teams must not be formally selected
