House Programs

Our club consists of 4 house levels:

1.  U6, U7 House

These age groups provide an introduction to the sport with emphasis on fun, participation and developing a range of soccer skills.  Every effort is made to create even teams.  This age group is for 5 and 6 year old girls.  The girls play strictly against teams in our own club.  The teams play small sided games with 3 vs. 3 or 4 vs. 4 without a goalie.

2.  U8, U9 House

These age groups begin to offer exposure to play with Tsawwassen.  This age group is for 7 and 8 year old girls.  The emphasis is still on fun, participation and developing a range of soccer skills but their is higher focus on developing these girls as soccer players.  We begin to introduce the concept of positions on the field as well as attacking and defending.  The teams play small sided games with 4 or 5 and a goalie.

3. U10, U11, U12 House (Note: for U10 Development and U11, U12 Select see Programs - "Select")

These age groups begin to travel to other South District clubs and the concept of competition is introduced.  This age group is for 9,10 and 11 year old girls.  There is an increasing focus on developing a range of soccer skills and coaching attacking and defending.  Competition begins to be more intense, but there is still a focus of having fun and including all the girls of different skill level.

4.  U13 to U18 House (Note: for U13 to U18 Select see Programs  - "Select")

This age group offers competitive caliber soccer for the girls.  This age group (12 to 18 years old) interlocks with various soccer clubs throughout the Lower Mainland.   Teams are created depending on the skill level of the players and their commitment and availibilty.  Competition continues to be more intense, but there is still a focus of having fun and including all the girls of different skill level.
