Existing Team Officials => Login to Online Registration for Coach, Assistant Coach, Manager or Female Designate (update required from one year to the next)
All Coaches, Assistant Coaches, Managers and Female Designates are required to register on the LGSC On-line Registration System. These individual are considered Team Officials and must register and complete necessary screening to comply with BC Soccer regulations. See the next section for more information regarding Criminal Record Checks.
Because the players are all girls or young women, each team is required to have a “Female Designate” as a Team Official who strives to attend all practices and games. If the team Coach, Assistant Coach or Manger is a woman, they can double as the Female Designate. If the Female Designate is not available for a particular game or practice, Coaches are encouraged to try and find suitable temporary replacements. (ie players’ mothers)
Being registered in the LGSC system allows the registrar to allocate players to the team. Once this has been done it provides Team Officials with access to information such as team lists, player and league contacts and medical information for players which they are expected to handle confidentially and for the purposes it was intended.
Criminal Record Checks and Vulnerable Sector Screening
For BC Soccer compliance and everyone’s safety and security, ALL Team Officials and Executive must submit a Criminal Record Check and Vulnerable Sector Screening. NO individual or occupation (i.e. Police Officer or Firefighter) is exempt from this requirement.
The CRC and VSS documents are valid for 3 years and LGSC is able to accept photocopies of those valid documents you may have received for other organizations. Any new CRC documents must be provided within 6 months of the date on the CRC. The CRC's must be at least from May 1, 2011 for them to be valid for the 2013/14 season.
Ladner Girls is a separate entity from Ladner Boys Soccer. If you have submitted a CRC and VSS to Ladner Boys Soccer, you may request that they send us a copy by emailing the LGSC Registrar or LGSC Risk Management Manager indicating that you give approval for Ladner Boys to send these directly to us for our use. These documents must be dated no earlier than May 1, 2011 for them to be valid, otherwise you will be asked to submit a new CRC and VSS to LGSC.
Any Team Official for whom LGSC has not received valid CRC and VSS documents will lose their access to the LGSC website and communications and not be permitted involvement with the team in any capacity other than as a parent cheering from the sideline.
For the protection of the players and as required by BC Soccer, we require all Volunteers to provide a valid Criminal Record Check. The details and forms are in the "Forms" menu on this website.
